Omari has always had a passion for cooking, from very a young age he would do baking with his mother and sibling creating different sweet treats.

At the young age of seven Omari’s parents decided to teach Omari and his older brother how to cook meals as their mother was very ill and was unable to cook in the kitchen and needed their help when their father was working long hours.

Omari’s passion grew stronger as he began creating his own meals for the family to enjoy.

Omari McQueen is the youngest award winning vegan chef in the UK and the CEO and founder of Dipalicious.

He has gone on to win three amazing awards:

TruLittle Hero Award for being the Entrepreneur Hero under twelve 2018 by Cause4Children Ltd, Compassionate Kids award for using his entrepreneurial flair to help animals and

the Proud and Gifted Award in recognition of being a vegan chef and a youth empowerment speaker encouraging other children to become entrepreneurs.

Omari started Dipalicious at eight years old after starting a YouTube channel where he filmed himself making his very own vegan pizza, he felt that the pizza was to dry and didn’t know if Heinz Tomato sauce was vegan so he made his first dip the Caribbean kick. After allowing us to taste it and getting good reviews from our family he decided he wanted to start selling his dip and created two more dips to begin selling.

Omari now has a selection of dips, snacks, juice packs and seasoning and saving for his very own bus converted restaurant and his balanced pre prepared vegan meals for children.

He decided to learn to be a chef before he became vegan it was only when he chose to make food that everyone could eat that he discovered veganism after coming across a PETA UK video on YouTube. He became very determined to know more about veganism and decided he would become vegan and teach other children about the food that they eat.

Omari has always had a passion for cooking but he started learning to cook meals from the age of seven after I became ill with hemiplegic migraines his father and I started to teach Omari and his older brother Laquarn how to cook meals to help me when I was unable to stand and his dad was working late.

Omari has gone from strength to strength and practices different cooking skills and meals daily, he research’s the benefits of everything he cooks and works out the benefits of what he eats.
